Volunteering Opportunities:
Sanyu relies on both local and foreign volunteers to help provide the love and support to the children who God has entrusted to their care. There is a job for everyone, no matter your age or skill set. Sanyu’s onsite guesthouse, which can accommodate individuals or groups as large as 14, provides warm African hospitality and a full range of services to make your stay comfortable and relaxing as you serve. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities, depending on your skills base and interests. We welcome people who are trained in the fields of medicine, social work, construction and accounting, as well as general volunteers who can help within different departments in the home. These include the Care Workers department (feeding, changing and playing with the children), the Domestic department, Nursing Station, Office & Administration and the general compound. If you don’t have the experience of handling babies, don’t worry, they have staff on hand to assist you.
